Terms and Conditions

Effective October 11, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Talkative. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Talkative.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account, except where applicable law says otherwise. One account is permitted per email address.

Participant safety

Talkative connects you with other participants; we do not independently verify every participant's identity, statements, or intentions. Use your own judgment, protect your personal information, and do not share passwords, financial details, your address, phone number, or other information you would not want a stranger to know. Conversations with strangers carry risks. Do not meet someone in person solely because you met on Talkative, and take appropriate precautions if you choose to do so.

Talkative is not an emergency, crisis, medical, legal, or professional-advice service. If there is an immediate risk to anyone, contact local emergency services.

Acceptable use

You must not use Talkative to threaten, harass, stalk, exploit, groom, or impersonate anyone; target or solicit minors; share unlawful, abusive, or non-consensual content; commit fraud; violate another person's privacy or rights; interfere with the service; or evade a safety restriction. Do not use the service for spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation without our permission.

Profiles, conversations, and moderation

You are responsible for information and messages you choose to submit. You retain any rights you have in your content, but give Talkative permission to process and display it as reasonably necessary to provide conversations, safety features, and the service. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.

Messages posted in global chat are public to other participants and may be read by visitors during a two-minute preview. Your first name appears with your messages. Only signed-in account holders can post. Do not share private or confidential information there.

You can report or block participants. We may review relevant content and account activity to investigate reports and protect users. We may remove content, limit features, suspend, or close an account when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, there is a safety or legal concern, or action is needed to protect the service. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may provide notice or an opportunity to appeal.

Scores and service features

Conversation scores, streaks, matching, and other features are provided for the operation of Talkative and may change, be unavailable, or be adjusted based on activity, safety decisions, and service changes. They are not a guarantee of another participant's conduct or quality.

Advertising and third-party services

Talkative may display advertisements and may link to third-party services. Third parties have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or products, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise. Advertising does not mean that Talkative endorses an advertiser or its claims.

Intellectual property

Talkative and its branding, design, and service materials are owned by or licensed to the service operator and are protected by applicable law. Except as permitted by law or with our written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit them.

Account closure and service changes

You may stop using Talkative and request account deletion through Account Settings. Some information may be retained after deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, or update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice where required by law. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them where permitted by law.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Talkative is provided on an “as available” basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or risk-free service or the conduct of other participants. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right, remedy, warranty, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that restriction, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without limiting any mandatory rights or jurisdictional rules that apply to you. Any dispute will be handled by a court or other forum with jurisdiction under applicable law.
